Windfire Yoga Retreat
Intermediate Courses

The Windfire Dynamic Yoga Intermediate Course allows you to establish a sound and satisfying basis for ongoing self practice. You will explore and practice 3 Intermediate practice Vinyasa and almost 200 postures which you will be able to draw on in your daily practice.

The Integration Module focusses on clarifying the Dynamic of the Bandhas in the whole body. This includes the peripheral bandhas (hastabandha and padabandha), as well as the core bandhas (merubandha, mulabandha, uddyanabandha, jalandharabandha). This course is open to anyone.

The Form Module focusses on applying the Dynamic of the Bandhas to the differing shapes of a wide range of yoga postures: standing postures, balances, forward bends, rotations, backbends and inversions. This clarifies and makes available the simplicity of yoga posture practice when based on the inherent intelligence and integrity of the body. This course is open to anyone.

The Practice Module uses VINYASASUKASYA, VINYASAXIKITSA and VINYASANIXISYA Practice Vinyasa to establish a sound basis for ongoing self practice. Variations and modifications are used to make them accessible to all practitioners. You will also learn the preparatory practices of Xandranamaskar and Suryanamaskar based directly on the inherent intelligence and integrity of the body. This course is open to anyone.
